Taking place on the margins of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, the Africa Investor Forum: Mobilising Global Capital for Growth, hosted by Invest Africa and CRDB Bank, will bring together senior leaders from African financial institutions, development finance institutions, institutional investors and the private sector.
Under the theme “One Bank, Every Bridge: Connecting Africa’s Growth to the World’s Capital,” the Forum will explore how stronger partnerships across Africa, Asia, the Gulf and international financial markets can mobilise capital and translate Africa’s investment opportunities into sustainable economic growth.
The programme will feature executive-level discussions on the role of public and private capital, sustainable and trade finance, financial inclusion and cross-border investment in strengthening Africa’s investment ecosystem, while also showcase tangible examples of these partnerships through a series of strategic MoU signings and financing announcements, demonstrating how international collaboration can support investment, trade and sustainable development across the continent.
Bringing together key decision-makers on the sidelines of the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings, the event will provide a focused platform to connect African growth opportunities with global pools of capital, strengthen strategic partnerships and identify practical pathways for investment-led growth.
