Sierra Leone Investment Forum

  • London England United Kingdom (map)

Sierra Leone is reshaping its economic landscape and positioning itself as an attractive destination for investment. Ongoing improvements to regulatory frameworks are establishing the foundations for long-term growth and a business environment that is open to both local and international investors.

Against this backdrop, British International Investment in partnership with the Government of Sierra Leone is launching the Sierra Leone Investment Forum.

The Forum will showcase Sierra Leone’s pipeline of bankable, investment-ready projects, and explore emerging opportunities in a range of sectors from agriculture, manufacturing and financial services to energy, infrastructure and tourism.

The event organising partners include ARIA, the British High Commission Freetown, Invest Africa, Invest Salone, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer LLP and the National Investment Board of Sierra Leone.

Under the theme “Ready for Investment, Open for Partnership”, the event will bring together Sierra Leone and UK Government officials, DFIs, leading private sector investors and business to gain sector specific insights, learn from successful business case studies and explore a unique pipeline of bankable projects for local and foreign investors.
