Trade Corridors & Regional Integration: Unlocking East Africa's Potential

As East Africa continues to emerge as one of the continent’s most dynamic economic regions, the development of efficient trade corridors is becoming central to unlocking growth, strengthening regional integration, and facilitating cross-border commerce. Strategic infrastructure, improved logistics networks and harmonised regulatory frameworks are all critical to enabling goods, services and capital to move more efficiently across the region.

This session will explore how governments, investors and the private sector can work together to accelerate the development of key corridors linking ports, production hubs and inland markets. Discussions will focus on the role of infrastructure investment, trade facilitation, and policy coordination in supporting more resilient and competitive regional value chains.

Taking place in Nairobi, the event will bring together business leaders, policymakers, financiers and infrastructure stakeholders to examine practical opportunities to scale trade-enabling projects and position East Africa as a gateway for regional and global trade.
