I have lead several key M&A initiatives to deliver growth and stronger balance sheet to generate better returns. These initiatives include setting up global partnership with long term financial partners and monetization of select assets to strategic partners whilst retaining operations and management control over the business.
Select transaction include the delisting of DP World, global partnership with CDPQ; creation of global logistics platform, consolidation of Pusan New Port and Caucedo; acquisition of Prince Rupert terminal; monetization of select HK assets; strategic partnership with DP World Australia and divestments of non-core businesses, development and financing of brown-field/green-field terminals in Callao, Peru and Dorale, Djibouti.
I actively participate through the board and committees of several companies to collectively direct the company's affairs, whilst meeting the appropriate interests of its shareholders.
Prior to my current role, I was the regional finance head for DP World Americas and before joining DP World, I worked with a JV company of APM Terminals/Sealand.
I have the ability to originate and execute transactions successfully and I have thorough understanding of risk in diverse commercial and legal environments. I have demonstrated relentless ability to lead and motivate teams of professionals across geographies, functions and cultures and delivered ambitious targets.
