Christie Viljoen is a Senior Manager and Economist at PwC South Africa. He has 15 years of experience in research and consulting related to emerging and developing markets, most frequently focussed on the African continent. Christie focusses on macroeconomic and political research, industry and market-entry analysis, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) solutions, and thought leadership production. He has a PhD in Economics from Stellenbosch University. Before joining PwC in 2018, Christie worked for KPMG South Africa (2016-2017) and Oxford Economics Africa (2007-2015).
