Marcel Awasum is a financial services and investment executive, connecting international capital with opportunities across Africa's infrastructure, financial services, energy and commodities sectors. Based in Abu Dhabi Global Market, he serves as Head of Advisory at Premier Investment Partners Limited, a Category 3C regulated advisory and fund management firm, where he leads fundraising, M&A, and transaction advisory mandates for African corporates, financial institutions and sovereigns. He also serves as CEO of Premier Trading Services FZCO, where he oversees a USD 5 billion short-term facility programme providing foreign currency liquidity to financial institutions across the Africa to support trade.

On Africa's trade corridors, his view is grounded in commercial reality. He brings to this discussion a direct line of sight into how investors assess risk, price transactions and deploy capital into markets where the opportunities are substantial, but the execution infrastructure is still trailing.
