Pedro Besugo: Head of Consulting

Pedro heads the Business Development and IA Consult arm of Invest Africa, focusing on strategic partnerships with private and public sector stakeholders. With over 10 years of experience at the intersection of international development and investment across several African markets, he brings deep expertise on Africa-related business and investment issues.

Prior to joining Invest Africa, Pedro led strategy and business development at IC Publications Group, advising leading banks and multilateral institutions including AfDB, Afreximbank and Standard Bank Group. He has also worked with the Netherlands-African Business Council and the German-African Business Association, supporting European companies on trade and investment opportunities across Africa. He speaks English and Portuguese.
