Sanjeev currently serves as a Board Member across various companies, PE Funds and also works as an Advisor to various Multilateral institutions.

He has a wealth of experience in working across various industries in emerging markets and done significant M&A, Project Finance and Fund-raising work in Africa, GCC, ASEAN region, China and India

A veteran C suite level leader with 30+ years’ work in Strategy, Corporate Finance and M&A across Africa, MENA and India.
Prior executive roles include:

• Executive Board Member at Africa Finance Corporation

• Managing Partner of Emerging Markets Center of Excellence at EY
  CEO of Sanlam Investment Management-Emerging Markets

Sanjeev is a Fellow Member of the ICAI (India), holds an Advanced Management Programme (AMP) from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School (UK), and an Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. He serves as Principal at the AFC Foundation and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of InfraCredit (Nigeria). He also sits on the boards of Bakwena Platinum Corridor (South Africa), TIPSP (San Pedro, Côte d'Ivoire), and AFC Capital Partners, the asset management subsidiary of Africa Finance Corporation.

Beyond these roles, Sanjeev is Founder and Chairman of Africa Pledge, an Africa-focused family office, business advisory and corporate finance platform. He is a Strategic Advisor and Trustee of Common Purpose in the UK, where he also chairs the Students Programme, and serves on the Advisory Board of Invest Africa, supporting its mission to connect African opportunities, leadership and governments with global strategic and commercial partners.
