He has been engaged in structuring major project finance transactions in sectors such as power (incl. Renewable Energy), water, oil & gas, telecoms, transportation, healthcare & industrial projects.

Since 2020, Tristan has held executive leadership roles in the Company based in the UK. Before joining First Quantum, Tristan spent eight years in corporate finance and investment banking with a focus on the resources industry.

Mukwandi Chibesakunda is the Chief Executive Officer of Zambia National Commercial Bank (Zanaco)Plc, Zambia’s leading  indigenous Financial Services Provider and is the first female Chief Executive of this organization.

Richard Bennett, is the founder and CEO of Sunbird Bioenergy Africa. His vision is to create a profitable pan-African renewable energy company that delivers job creation, import substitution, energy security and reduced carbon emissions for our host governments and communities.

Derrick Sanyahumbi brings wide-ranging experience in supporting and promoting trade and investment as well as the international development working with both private and public sectors.

George joined Invest Africa in September 2022 as Marketing & Events Associate. George originally began his time at Invest Africa based in Cape Town, but he has since joined up with the London office as of February 2023. Prior to this role, George spent 7 months in Birmingham working in logistics for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

David has worked at Diageo for over ten years in a variety of business development roles. He currently directs M&A and strategy across the Africa region at Diageo and across Diageo’s beer business globally.

Following the 6th democratic elections, and with the expansion of the Ministry to include Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe was appointed Minister of Mineral and Energy Resources in May 2019. Mr Mantashe was appointed Minister of Mineral Resources in February 2018.

Vincenzo is a director of the Independent Energy Pool which is allows energy intensive users and energy traders to buy and sell electricity.

Andrés Blanco Grasa was born in 1964. He is currently CEO of Xcalibur Multiphysics Group, a leading company in airborne geophysics solutions.

Harpal S. Randhawa qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross & Co in London. He also has a MBA from The City University Business School and qualified as a Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Tori has worked in business development in Africa since 1999, when she had responsibility for growing the market share of a London based FTSE listed financial training and services company in the region.  

Mr. Humphrey Nwugo has been Regional Chief Operating Officer for Southern Africa Regional Office at African Export-Import Bank (“Afreximbank’’) since February 2019.

Marc L. Holtzman is Chairman of BK Group and has been a member of the Board since 2009. Mr. Holtzman also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of CBZ Holdings Ltd, Zimbabwe’s largest financial services company.
