Folaseto Akin-Olugbade is a highly accomplished private equity and infrastructure investment executive with over 15 years of experience deploying and managing over $7 billion in capital across Africa, Europe, and the Americas. She currently serves as Director in the Project Finance team at Africa50, where she leads the structuring and financing of transformative projects that drive sustainable infrastructure and economic development across the continent.

Her expertise spans energy, resource infrastructure, industrials, and digital infrastructure, with a strong track record in delivering innovative investment solutions that promote resilience and long-term impact.

Folaseto’s career includes senior roles at leading institutions such as Actis, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), DPI LLP, PwC, and KPMG. She holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Computational Mathematics from the University of Leicester, where she also serves on the Board Investment Committee, providing strategic guidance on the management of the university’s endowment fund.
