Leah Banda: Head of Market Development & Public Relations (UAE)

Leah Banda is a strategic communications, marketing and public relations leader with experience across Africa and the United Arab Emirates. She is recognised for shaping narratives that support investment, partnerships and institutional credibility, aligning strategy, reputation and stakeholder engagement to advance long term commercial and strategic priorities.

As Head of Market Development and Public Relations for Invest Africa in the UAE, Leah leads engagement with government, financial institutions, development partners and multinational corporates, helping position Invest Africa as a bridge between African markets and the UAE. She brings senior leadership experience across the financial and logistics sectors, with roles at RAKBANK, Emirates Post Group, Noor Bank, Standard Bank and BancABC, part of Atlas Mara. Leah also holds board level advisory roles with Evolvin’ Global and Kutafiti, reflecting her commitment to social enterprise.
