Lanre Akinola has more than 15 years of experience working in Africa-focused media and investment promotion.

He was part of the founding team of the Financial Times’ pioneering This Is Africa publication, serving as editor from 2011 - 2015. He has also worked with the Bloomberg Media Initiative Africa, is the former editor of African Business Magazine, and the former Head of Content at the Norwegian-African Business Association.

Lanre is also a 2014 Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow.
