Nabil has extensive experience in energy and infrastructure investment across regions such as Sub-Saharan Africa, Morocco, North America, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Africa50, Nabil served as ACWA Power Morocco CEO. His previous experiences, include a senior consultant role with Norfund, head of business development for InfraCo Africa, deputy general manager at Platinum Power, director of international cooperation and development at Masen (Moroccan Agency for Solar Energy) and a senior quantitative analyst at Pacific Gas & Electric Company.

Nabil holds a BSc in applied mathematics with a minor in physics from Hassan II University and an MSc in applied mathematics and computer science from the University of Quebec. He has completed several executive programmes, including Business Valuation and Advanced Energy Economics at UC Berkeley. He is a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
